In September 2003 the trattoria expanded, and now has two large air-conditioned dining rooms looking out over the spectacular panorama of the Langhe’s vine-covered hills.
Our cooking is time-tested: simple, authentic and local, served in a warm, family atmosphere.
Some of our specialties:
• renowned Fassone beef, served Alba-style in thin raw slices
• vitello tonnato, veal with tuna mayonnaise
• homemade pastas like filled raviolini del plìn with ragù and thin, Langhe-style tajarin
• braised rabbit al suvè and wild boar in salmi cooked by Nonna Piera
… and for a sweet finish, our famous La Bavarese, a truly irresistible ambrosia of vanilla and coffee.
White Alba truffles are available in season.
Many of the wines on offer are made by Fratelli Zunino, in the winery next to the restaurant. The winery is also open for tastings and purchases by appointment.
